One person was flown to a Nashville hospital following a head-on collison late Sunday morning on Old Madisonville Road.
Christian County Sheriff’s Sergeant James Dragoo says the driver of southbound SUV was reportedly in the center of the road near the Lake Morris Road intersection when the vehicle hit a northbound car head-on. The SUV turned over on the side, with the car running off the road into the ditch.
The driver of the SUV was flown to Vanderbilt Medical Center, with the driver of the car refusing treatment on the scene.
The accident occurred shortly after 11:00. The names of those involved in the wreck have not been released.
