Paving Project On Gracey-Sinking Fork Road Begins Tuesday

Motorists traveling KY 1026/Gracey-Sinking Fork Road need to be aware a Kentucky Transportation Cabinet contractor plans to start milling and paving a section of the road Tuesday.

Spokesman Keith Todd says the milling and paving on Gracey-Sinking Fork Road will fun from near the Shurdan Creek culvert extending eastward almost 2.5 miles to KY 91, the Princeton Road, near Sinking Fork, weather permitting.

Milling will start on Tuesday with asphalt paving to start Thursday. Todd indicates all work should is expected to be complete around September 6.

According to Todd, this is part of a group project that includes paving along several other routes in Christian County that will be scheduled at a later date.
