Two people were arrested after a crowd gathered at the scene where a female pedestrian was hit by a vehicle on State Line Road in Oak Grove Tuesday night.
The Christian County Sheriff’s Department reports they responded to the scene around 8:45 p.m. after Oak Grove Police requested assistance with a group of people causing a disturbance where the pedestrian was hit and then the driver allegedly fired a shot into the air and fled the scene. Kelly reportedly continued to yell and was taken into custody, but resisted arrest and got away from a deputy and had to be tased, causing him to fall to the ground.
Kelly was lodged in the Christian County Jail charged with 2nd Degree Disorderly Conduct and 2nd Degree Fleeing or Evading Police on Foot.
Clarksville Police report Davis also resisted arrest and had to be taken to the ground, at which time she assaulted an officer causing a visible injury to his face in the chin area. Davis was taken into custody and lodged in the Montgomery County Jail.
