A Henry County, Tennessee woman was arrested Friday for theft from her former employer in Calloway County. Kentucky State Police report 36-year old Rebecca Billington of Puryear was charged with Theft By Unlawful Taking Over $500, and under $10,000.
State police say the investigation began after they were contacted by the Calloway County Extension Office, where Billington had previously been employed, about personal charges on a company credit card she had made.
Billington was lodged in the Calloway County Jail.
KSP says the investigation is ongoing.
