Police are investigating the theft of eight vehicles in Clarksville, four of which were taken from the lot of Clarksville Auto Sales. Public Information Officer Jim Knoll says the other four vehicles were taken from two separate private residences at Shadowood Road and Glenridge Lane. He indicates all the vehicles were taken between Sunday and Monday.

Knoll reports the window of Clarksville Auto Sales was broken and entry was made by multiple males in which they took car keys, vehicle titles, dealer plates and cash. The four vehicles stolen from the car lot were a black 2003 Chevrolet Tahoe, a maroon 2007 Chevrolet Suburban, a blue Chevrolet Corvette, and a 2014 Dodge Charger.

According to Knoll, the vehicles taken from Shadowood Road were a white 2016 Ford F-150 and a 2012 Ford and a black 2015 GMC Terrain, all with Tennessee tag numbers. Knoll says the homeowners did not know the vehicles had been stolen until they walked outside of their residence in the morning. He adds the suspects were able to get access to the vehicles’ keys by making entry into the garage.

Knoll indicates the vehicle stolen on Glenridge Lane was a gray 2018 Nissan Rogue, with a Tennessee tag, was taken from the front of the residence. He says there may have been a spare key used which had been left in a purse on the inside of the vehicle.

The investigation is ongoing and Knoll says video surveillance is being gathered and reviewed. Anyone with information about the vehicle thefts is asked to call the TIPSLINE at (931) 645-8477.
