The Graves County Sheriff is being investigated by Kentucky State Police.
According to a release, detectives with the Kentucky State Police Drug Enforcement/Special Investigations Unit started the investigation of Sheriff Wayne Redmon after receiving a tip in early July. State police say the investigation is ongoing and will be presented to the next Graves County Grand Jury. At this time, they note no charges have been filed and no arrests have been made.
KSP Drug Enforcement Special Investigations Unit Sergeant Dean Patterson tells the News Edge they are investigating drug-related accusations against Sheriff Redmon.
