I-69 Rolling Road Block In Caldwell Wednesday

Motorists traveling Interstate 69 in Caldwell County need to be aware of a rolling road block Wednesday.

Kentucky Transportation Cabinet spokesman Keith Todd says they have issued a permit to slow and halt traffic with the rolling road block for northbound traffic near the 80 mile marker to allow the Princeton Electric Plant Board to replace a power line near the I-69/KY 91 Exit 80 Princeton interchange. He says Kentucky State Police and the Caldwell County Sheriff’s Office will assist and start a rolling road block to slow I-69 northbound traffic beginning around the US 62 Eddyville-Princeton Exit.

Todd indicates the rolling road block and traffic stoppage is expected to start around 10:00 Wednesday morning and last about 10 to 15 minutes.

Motorists should be alert for police and slowed traffic, and use appropriate caution where equipment, flaggers, and maintenance personnel are along the roadway near traffic flow.
