An Illinois woman has died from injuries suffered in a single vehicle wreck in Madisonville Saturday morning.
Madisonville Police report 83-year old Dorothy Portwood of Carrollton was driving north on Island Ford Road when, for an unknown reason, between Ridgewood Island Court and Huntington Ridge her mini-van exited the road and struck a tree. She was flown to St. Vincent’s Hospital in Evansville, where police say she succumbed to her injuries.
