Transit Riders Need To Be Aware Of Stop Changes

Due to the closure of Rite Aid on Fort Campbell Boulevard, Hopkinsville Transit has announced the Blue Route will no longer stop at the store’s parking lot beginning August 9th. Instead, officials say buses will make stops along East 21st Street and Country Club Lane Extension.

Officials say in a release this means riders interested in traveling to or being picked up from this area will need to let the driver know where they would like to be dropped off along this stretch or call dispatch to be picked up from this area. The stop will become known as Country Club Lane Extension.

Hopkinsville Transit operates Monday through Friday from 5:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. and features affordable regular fares for only $1 each way with a free transfer. The transit service also offers discounted fares of 50 cents for students, seniors, military and the disabled, as well as discounted $5 weekly passes and $15 monthly passes.

To plan a trip, call Hopkinsville Transit Dispatch at (270) 890-6055, Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
