According to Hopkinsville Police, the driver was 19-year-old Skylar Simmons of Hopkinsville.

Hopkinsville Fire Department Public Information Officer Captain Michael Pendleton says units responded to 10632 Eagle Way Bypass, near Fort Campbell Boulevard, where a van had left the roadway and came to rest inside the vacant building, located next to Tractor Supply. He indicates Simmons was extricated from the vehicle and transported to the Air Evac helipad for transport to Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville.
