Motorists traveling Millbrooke Drive in Hopkinsville need to be aware the road will be closed at the North Fork Little River Bridge Thursday and Friday. Transportation Cabinet spokesman Keith Todd says the closure is to allow geotech drilling at the bridge to gather information to be used to aid in the design of a new bridge that will be constructed in that location in the near future.
Todd indicates there will not be a marked detour. He notes Millbrooke Drive will be closed to through traffic at the North Fork Little Bridge during daylight hours to facilitate the work. Local homeowners may access Millbrooke Drive from the Country Club Lane end or from Pyle Lane.
