Some Christian County Water District customers will be experiencing a water outage Wednesday in areas north of Crofton.
Manager James Owen says the interruption of service is due to private construction on the Madisonville Road. He notes the water outage will be until 4:00 Wednesday afternoon for customers on Madisonville Road, Old Madisonville Road, Grapevine Road, Davis Road, Mannington Loop and Empire Road.
Owen indicates customers may experience low water pressure and white and milky colored water. Those living on higher elevation could lose water pressure.
As a precaution, Owen says customers affected by the water outage who have water heaters may want to turn the units off during this time period.
