Kentucky State Police are investigating the possible mishandling of funds by the Kuttawa City Clerk’s Office. Post One Information Officer Trooper Jay Thomas says the investigation is still in the initial stages.

Thomas could not comment on the amount of funds missing. He had no timetable for when the investigation might be completed.According to the Princeton Times Leader, the Kuttawa City Council met July 6 and held a second special-called meeting Tuesday, July 17, to discuss personnel issues.
