Health Officials Say Hepatitis A Is Spreading In Kentucky

The Kentucky Department for Public Health is reporting there were 1,094 cases and eight deaths from the outbreak of hepatitis A as of the first week of July. The agency says 18 counties reported new cases during that week.

In Christian County, Amanda Bassingthwaite with the Christian County Health Department, reports there has been one case, but it was not a local resident.
