Two men were reportedly injured when their truck was hit by a semi on the Jackson Purchase Parkway in Graves County Tuesday morning.
Kentucky State Police say the initial investigation revealed 17-year old William Lemon of Melber was driving a pickup truck northbound when near the 20 mile marker he stopped abruptly in the construction zone to attempt to make an illegal U-turn and his truck was hit by a northbound semi driven by 44-year old Joseph Richards of Albertville, Alabama. The impact caused Lemon’s pickup to overturn.
Police say Lemon and his passenger, 64-year old Isaac Comte of Mayfield, were transported to local hospitals for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
