Jury Convicts Man Of Incest And Rape

A jury convicted a Hopkinsville man Friday on numerous counts of sex-related crimes against his two step-granddaughters. Antonio Sallee was tried in Christian County Circuit Court before Judge John Atkins and the jury found him guilty of all fifteen counts of sex abuse, incest, sodomy and rape.

Sallee was indicted by the Christian County Grand Jury in Feburary. The indictment said there were two victims in the case, both under the age of 12, and the incidents reportedly happened between February and December of 2016.

The jury sentenced him to over 200 years in prison, but by law his sentence has to be limited to 70 years. Sallee will officially be sentenced in Christian Circuit Court December 5th.
