A Cadiz man has been charged with theft after he allegedly stole a vehicle in Trigg County earlier this month. On June 13 around 9:40 p.m., the Trigg County District Court complaint warrant says a female victim alleges 27-year old Shaw Rice took a cell phone out of her residence. He then allegedly took her car keys and proceeded outside and took her vehicle and then fled the area, presumably to another state.
He is charged with Theft by Unlawful Taking – Auto $10,000 or more but under $1 million, and Theft By Unlawful Taking Under $500.
