Police are continuing to investigate a home invasion and robbery on Coleman Street where two women were shot Thursday morning.
Hopkinsville Police Department spokesman Lieutenant Kyle Spurlin says officers responded to the 1400 block of Coleman Street at 4:14am to a shots fired call. Upon arrival, he says they found two females had been shot.
Lt. Spurlin notes detectives are continuing to investigate the shooting and follow up on any leads regarding the suspects.
He says the gunshot wounds to Williams, who was flown to a Nashville hospital, were critical but he doesn’t know if they were life-threatening injuries.
