Clarksville Police are asking for the public’s help to identify an armed robbery suspect at the Dollar General on Edmondson Ferry Road.
Public Information Officer Jim Knoll says the robbery occurred around 9:30 Monday night at 155 Edmondson Ferry Road. A thin male about 5’9, wearing gray sweat pants, black shirt, black and white shoes, black hat, and a white and black bandanna covering his face went into a Dollar General store, pointed a gun at the clerk and demanded money. Knoll says he was given an undetermined amount of money and then fled from the business.
The robbery was caught on video surveillance. Knoll says they are aware the video does not clearly show the suspect’s face, but he adds someone may recognize the shoes or something unique and be able to identify him.
