Man Charged With Meth Trafficking In Earlington

A man was arrested in Earlington Friday night on meth trafficking charges. The Hopkins County Sheriff’s Office reports 23-year old Jeremy Massey was taken into custody shortly before 8:25 Friday night at Mike’s Place on South Lee Trover Todd. The deputy reportedly recognized Massey and knew he had outstanding warrants.

Upon making contact, the deputy says Massey said he was in possession of methamphetamine and pills. After Massey arrested, the deputy reportedly found a large quantity of crystal meth which was packaged for sales, a large sum of cash, and prescription controlled substances.

Massey was booked into the Hopkins County Jail charged with 1st Degree Trafficking in Meth, 1st Degree Possession of Controlled Substance, and Prescription not in a Proper Container.
