Several community members joined the Pennyroyal Arts Council in celebrating the 90th birthday of the Alhambra Theater Monday afternoon. Visitors to the Alhambra enjoyed cake and punch, had a chance to browse through several items of memorabilia.
Visitors also had a chance to see a preview of how the theater will look after the renovations are completed later this year.
Among those on hand to speak to the crowd Mayor Carter Hendricks and Pennyroyal Arts Council Executive Director Margaret Prim.
The Live At The Alhambra season lineup was also unveiled during the event.
