Police say a Hopkinsville woman found in possession of a stolen trailer, meth and marijuana was arrested at a home on North Main Street Tuesday night.
Hopkinsville Police report officers went to 715 North Main Street to locate 37-year old Tanisha Dhaliwal on a warrant. Police say Dhaliwal arrived later in a vheicle while officers were at her home. Officers reportedly found a trailer, valued around $700, which was determined to be stolen in her backyard. Police say they also found pills in plain view inside her vehicle, and during a probably cause search they located a large amount of methamphetamine and marijuana also inside of the vehicle. Officers also reportedly found several small baggies inside her purse which had not been used.
Dhaliwal was lodged in the Christian County Jail charged with Receiving Stolen Property Over $500 Under $10,000, 1st Degree Trafficking in a Controlled Substance (Over 2 Grams of Methamphetamine), Possession of Marijuana, Trafficking in a Controlled Substance (Over 10 Dosage Units Drug Unspecified).
