Christian Co. Jail/Jordan Harper
Police say a Hopkinsville woman was arrested for driving under the influence after she was seen crossing the center line on North Drive several times early Tuesday morning.
According to Hopkinsville Police, 27-year old Jordan Harper was driving southbound on North Drive when officers observed crossing the center line around 2:30am. Upon contact with Harper, officer say she had a strong odor of alcoholic beverage on her and could not stand up on her own free will. Police indicate field sobriety tests could not be conducted due to her high level of intoxication. Officers reportedly found an open beer can inside the vehicle in a cup holder.
Harper was taken into custody and lodged in the Christian County Jail charged with Operating a Motor Vehicle Under the Influence of Alcohol or Drugs Aggravated Circumstances, and Possession of Open Alcoholic Beverage in a Motor Vehicle.
