A 25-year old motorcyclist was killed in a crash with an SUV in Clarksville Tuesday night.
Clarksville Police spokesman Jim Knoll says the fatal crash occurred around 9:00pm at the intersection of 101st Airborne Division Parkway and Pea Ridge Road. He says the 25 year old man was traveling west on the 101st Airborne Division Parkway when a 36-year old man driving an SUV made a left turn toward Pea Ridge Road and crossed into the path of the motorcycle. The bike crashed into the passenger side of the SUV and caught on fire. Knoll indicates the motorcyclist died at the scene.
The release says charges are pending.
Knoll says the names will be released when next of kin have been notified.
