A motorcyclist was hurt in a wreck on Newtown Road in Russellville Monday afternoon.
Logan County Sheriff Wallace Whittaker and deputies responded to the crash at 1:10pm. Upon arrival, the report says deputies discovered Delmore Wright was traveling south on Newtown Road when he lost control of his bike when he tried to avoid an animal in the roadway and he ran off the road into a ditch.
Sheriff Whittaker and deputies treated Wright for injuries until EMT personnel arrived and transported him to Medical Center in Bowling Green.
