The National Weather Service in Paducah has issued a Lake Wind Advisory for all of western Kentucky until 6 PM Wednesday.
According to forecasters, winds will be coming in from the south to southwest at 10 to 20 mph and could gust as high as 30 mph.
When a Lake Wind Advisory is issued, it indicates that winds will cause rough chop on area lakes. Small boats will be especially prone to capsizing.
