Fortunately, there were no injuries when a vehicle and some bushes caught fire behind O’Charley’s restaurant on Fort Campbell Boulevard in Hopkinsville Tuesday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Fire Department Public Information Officer, Captain Michael Pendleton says firefighters from two stations responded to the restaurant around 1:50pm and were able to extinguish the fire, which he say appears to have originated as a mulch fire that spread to some bushes and onto a Ford Expedition parked beside the landscaping.
He notes Pennyrile Electric crews also responded to the scene to inspect an adjacent electrical box.
Captain Pendleton says there were no other damages and no injuries.
