Trigg County Emergency Officials and Kentucky State Police are investigating a fatal traffic accident on Interstate 24 west of Cadiz late Monday afternoon. State Police confirmed to the News Edge on the scene that at least one person died in the crash that occurred near the Kentucky 276/Rocky Ridge overpass, which is about a mile west of the U.S. 68 interchange.
Officials are still not saying what occurred but reports from the scene indicate the crash occurred near the overpass. The News Edge will have more details on this fatal accident as they are released by authorities.
