The Christian County 2018 Waste Tire Collection will be begin Thursday and continue through Saturday. Christian County, in partnership with the Kentucky Division of Waste Management is sponsoring the free event to allow Kentucky residents free disposal of tires.
Solid Waste Coordinator Jim Fleming tells the News Edge they will be accepting several types of tires, but there are some they cannot accept.

He adds they are looking for a good turnout and asks for residents dropping off tires to be patient.

Fleming notes tires can be dropped off at the Kentucky Department of Highway Garage.

He says tires will be accepted Thursday and Friday from 8:00am until 2:00pm, and Saturday from 8:00am until Noon.
