Two Dawson Springs men are facing various charges in connection to a burglary on Dolph Carlton Lane.

The Hopkins County Sheriff’s Office reports deputies responded to a vacant house Tuesday and observed a subject, later identified as 54-year old Michael Sharp, entering a storage building and remove two weed eaters. When the deputy identified himself, Sharp took off running but was apprehended after a short foot pursuit.

Two more deputies and a Dawson Police Department officer responded to the area and found the vehicle Sharp was using. During the investigation, authorities say 45-year old Jeffrey Dunning was also located and found to be in possession of meth and drug paraphernalia. The investigation led to Dunning’s residence where deputies indicate more drugs and paraphernalia were found as well as a stolen four wheeler.
