Cadiz Woman Appointed To KY Postsecondary Education Board

A Cadiz woman has been appointed by Governor Matt Bevin to the Kentucky Council on Postsecondary Education.

Governor Bevin announced Tuesday that Laura R. Harper will serve a term expiring December 31, 2022. Harper is the western Kentucky vice president for Rogers Group, Inc.

The Council on Postsecondary Education is a 16-member board appointed by Governor Bevin. The council is the coordinating board for postsecondary and adult education in the state.

In addition, the governor appointed a Madisonsville woman to the Geographic Information Advisory Council. Kimberly Denise Ezell, the Geographic Information System Coordinator for Hopkins County Fiscal Court, will represent the Kentucky Association of Counties (KACo). She will serve a term expiring September 22, 2021.
