A Lafayette woman was flown to a Nashville hospital after her vehicle overturned several times on Lafayette Road Tuesday afternoon. The Christian County Sheriff’s Office reports the wreck occurred about 8 miles south of Hopkinsville, at 3:30pm.

The report says Amber P’Pool was driving northbound on Lafayette Road and stated she was changing the station on the radio and thought she saw something run in front of vehicle and swerved to the left and then over corrected. The vehicle then ran off the road into the ditch where it overturned at least three to four times.

Deputies say P’Pool had to be extricated from the vehicle and was taken by ambulance to the baseball field where she was flown to Skyline Hospital in Nashville for treatment of a broken femur. A passenger, Christopher Farrie of Clarksville was uninjured in the wreck.
