Two Hopkinsville women were injured in a three vehicle wreck at Dr. Martin Luther King Way and Commerce Court Tuesday. Hopkinsville Police report the collision occurred just before 6:00 Tuesday morning when 19-year old Tristan Cansler of Crofton was westbound on the bypass and went to make a left turn onto Commerce Court and failed to yield the right of way. Police say Cansler pulled into the path of a vehicle driven by 53-year old Gail Jesse and then continued on and hit a second vehicle head on driven by 54-year old Roxie Wilson.
Jesse was reportedly transported by ambulance to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for treatment of injuries. Police say Wilson was taken to the hospital by private vehicle for pain to her face and mouth.
