Power has been restored to more than 11,000 Pennyrile Electric customers affected by a major power outage Tuesday morning. The outage affected all Pennyrile Electric customers in Trigg County and portions of Caldwell and Christian counties.
Pennyrile Electric officials posted on social media crews found some switches within the Cadiz substation that will have to be replaced. They performed some switching that restored power around 10:15am.
