Man Served Indictment Warrant For Cocaine Trafficking

A Cadiz man was served an Indictment Warrant at the Christian County Jail in connection to an arrest in January for cocaine trafficking. The Christian County Sheriff’s Office served 37-year old Antonio Wharton with the Trigg County warrant on charges of 1st Degree Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 2nd or Greater Offense (Greater or Equal to 4 Grams Cocaine), 1st Degree Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 2nd or Greater Offense (Less than 4 Grams Cocaine), 1st Degree Wanton Endangerment, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

On January 8th, the Trigg County Sheriff’s Office reported Wharton was arrested after deputies served a search warrant at a home in the county and found suspected crack cocaine and more than $14,000 in cash.
