Hopkinsville Woman Charged With DUI, Meth Possession

Police say a traffic stop for careless driving landed a Hopkinsville woman in jail for DUI and meth possession. Kentucky State Police say a trooper conducted the traffic stop in Earlington around 7:30 Saturday night and determined the driver, 29-year old Kristine Snyder was under the influence. Police indicate she also gave false identifying information.

During a search of the vehicle, the trooper reportedly found drug paraphernalia and suspected methamphetamine.

Snyder was arrested and lodged in the Hopkins County Jail charged with Giving Officer False Identifying Information, DUI, 1st Degree Possession of a Controlled Substance (Meth) 2nd Offense, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Careless Driving and other traffic-related offenses.
