Trial Set For Former Officer Charged With Official Misconduct

A former Hopkinsville Police Officer charged with allegedly using his position to get sex will be going to trial this summer. Daniel Gray and his attorney, Rick Boling, and Assistant County Prosecutor Lindsey Adams appeared before Christian District Judge Jim Adams for a hearing Wednesday morning. Judge Adams scheduled a pre-trial conference and trial for July.

Gray was arrested in November on two counts of 1st Degree Official Misconduct. Kentucky State Police say a woman came forward and told them Gray had traded sex for not taking her to jail. The relationship between the two reportedly started in November 2016.
