The Hopkinsville-Christian County Public Library will soon be under the direction of a very familiar face in the community. Monday night, the board voted to appoint DeAnna Sova as the new Executive Director. Search Committee Chair and Board Vice Chair, Jason Carroll says they reviewed many applications.
The Library Board has been searching for a new director since Nancy Jean Brinker announced in June that she was leaving.
Carroll says they feel Sova will help continue the path Brinker started.
Sova will start March 26. She currently works at Jennie Stuart Medical Center and previously worked at the Chamber of Commerce. She has been active in fundraising for the United Way for many years.
