A Cadiz man and woman are facing drug trafficking charges after they were arrested Sunday by the Cadiz Police Department. According to Officer Scott Raup police arrested 26 year-old Emilee Frederick and 36 year-old Derrick Gude at Wharton Drive residence.
Police responded to the Wharton Drive home to investigate an alleged domestic assault. During a consented search police found several synthetic marijuana roaches, empty synthetic majijuana packets, a marijuana pipe, suspected loose synthetic marijuana and suspected synthetic marijuana that was packaged for resale.
Police charged Frederick and Gude with their first offense of Trafficking in Synthetic Drugs and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Both were lodged in Christian County Jail.
