A motorcyclist was killed in a crash on Fort Campbell Boulevard at Collier Road Friday afternoon. Clarksville Police Public Information Officer Jim Knoll reports the fatal wreck occurred at 1:30pm when a pickup truck driven by a woman in her 60s was making a left turn from Collier Road onto the boulevard and pulled in front of a motorcycle, ridden by a man in his 20s.
Knoll says the motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene, and the woman was taken by ambulance to Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville with unspecified injuries.
Police have not released the name of the motorcyclist, pending notification of family.
