Judge Denies Motion To Allow Firefighter To Leave State

One of the four firefighters facing arson charges will not be granted the opportunity to leave the state. Dylan Hodge’s attorney, Jason Holland asked the court approve the travel.

Hodge is charged in connection to the August 20, 2017 fire at a building on Main Street in Crofton. Assistant Commonwealth’s Attorney, Maggie Gigandet says the property owners have concerns.

Circuit Judge John Atkins denied the motion Wednesday morning.

The next scheduled appearance for Hodge is the August trial. The others charged with arson are Jeremy Marlar, Dakota Oglesby, and Glenn McGee. All are former firefighters for the Crofton Fire Department.
