CCHS Senior Wins Calendar Contest

McKenzie Pepper was recently recognized by members of the Christian County Board of Education. McKenzie is a Senior at Christian County High School and was the winner of the Kentucky Association of Counties Calendar Contest. The theme of this year's calendar was "My County" and each winning entry in the calendar reflects something about that student's county. The Kentucky Association of Counties recognized McKenzie for being the only student to win two spots in the calendar contest. One, a drawing on the front cover and the second, a drawing on the month of March page. The calendar is distributed every year to the governor, state legislators, elected county officials and Kentucky Congressmen. For her winning work, McKenzie was presented $300 from the Kentucky Association of Counties.
