Murray Man Charged With Meth Trafficking

A search warrant served at a home in Calloway County Thursday led to the arrest of a Murray man after police reportedly found stolen property, drugs and weapons. Calloway County Sheriff Sam Steger reports deputies and state police executed the warrant at a home in the 1100 block of Clayton Road in Murray and found a large quantity of stolen property inside the residence and work shop.

Deputies also reportedly seized 6.9 grams of methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, marijuana, and five firearms. Sheriff Steger says the sheriff’s office is working with the ATF on possible federal charges for a Class III firearm and explosive device components that were found.

Authorities arrested 40-year old David Bugden and he was lodged in the Calloway County Detention Center under a $10,000 cash bond. He is with 1st Degree Trafficking in a Controlled Substance (Meth), Receiving Stolen Property Over $500 and Under $10,000, Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
