Christian County Schools Communications and Community Education Director Heather Lancaster will become the new Director of Sanctuary, Incorporated. Lancaster announced Monday morning that she will begin leading Sanctuary on March 1st.
Lancaster says she is looking forward to her new position, but will certainly hate to leave the Christian County School District.
Lancaster says she wants to hear from the staff at Sanctuary about the direction they want the organization to go.
She adds she is looking forward to working in her new role.
Lancaster’s final day at Christian County Schools will be February 28th.
Superintendent Mary Ann Gemmill says it’s been a pleasure to work with Mrs. Lancaster. She notes Lancaster positive attitude, skills and experience will serve her well as she moves into her new role.
