A Hopkinsville teen was injured in a two vehicle rear end collision on Country Club Lane Thursday afternoon. According to Hopkinsville Police, the crash occurred around 5:25pm when 25-year old Heather Wilson, of Cadiz, was driving westbound and crashed into the rear-end of a vehicle driven by 41-year old Meiko Hardin, of Hopkinsville. Wilson stated to police her brakes locked up and she then hit the other vehicle. Hardin told officers she was slowing down and swerved to get out of Wilson's way, but she didn't have enough time. Police say there were no skid markes on the roadway at the time of the report.
Police say Hardin's passenger, 17-year old Jada Gary was transported by ambulance to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for treatment of injuries.
