Winter Weather Advisory For Northern Listening Area

A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect from 6 Tuesday night until 6 Wednesday morning for the northern portion of the WKDZ-WHVO listening area. The National Weather Service issued the advisory early Tuesday morning for Caldwell, Lyon, Hopkins, Marshall and all counties to the north and west.

Weather Edge forecaster David Powell says temperatures will be near freezing and that could create some weather problems.

Powell says it is too early to be certain about that weather system. Forecasters should have a better outlook by early Tuesday morning. He says there is another system headed our way at the end of the week and an even more serious system by the middle of the month.
