Man Drowns In Kentucky Lake In Stewart County

The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency is reporting a Puryear man drowned in Kentucky Lake Wednesday. 40-year old Christopher Haller was kayaking on the lake in Stewart County when it reportedly turned over. Stewart County Fire Rescue, EMS and the Sheriff's Department along with the US Forest Service from LBL and TWRA responded to Gray's Landing around 3:30pm. Haller was transported to Henry County Medical Center, where he later died. He was not wearing a life jacket, and the water temperature was 41 degrees.
