Juveniles Arrested For Reportedly Robbing Man At Gunpoint

Two juveniles are facing charges after allegedly robbing a man at gunpoint over the weekend. Hopkinsville Police say the juveniles approached 19-year old Nigel Couvertier outside of a Higgins Street residence Friday evening around 7:15. Both were reportedly armed with handguns. The report says they stole an undisclosed amount of cash, jewelry, and a cell phone. The two were charged with 1st Degree Robbery and taken to the McCracken County Detention Center.

Couvertier is one of three men accused of robbing the Hardee’s on Fort Campbell Boulevard in February of last year. Couvertier, 45-year old Antonio Brunson, and 28-year old Jeffery Davis will appear in Christian Circuit Court in March for a jury trial.
