One person is dead and another injured after a crash in Logan County Monday. Russellville Police responded to a motor vehicle collision at the intersection of KY 178 and US 68 Bypass. Police say a 2001 Dodge Dakota entered the intersection from 178 and collided with a commercial motor vehicle. The passenger of the Dodge was extricated from the vehicle and transported by the Logan County EMS. The driver of the Dodge was pronounced deceased, at the scene, by the Logan County Coroner. The investigation is ongoing and names being withheld, pending family notification. The Russellville Police Department was assisted by the Russellville Fire Department, Logan County Sheriffs Department, and KSP commercial vehicle enforcement.
