There is just over 24 hours before the end of the partisan filing period. Trigg County Clerk, Carmen Finley says candidates have until close of business Tuesday.
She adds she had some concerns with it not falling at the end of the month.
The 4pm filing deadline will be for every county across the state.
All candidates appearing on the May Primary Ballots will have an opportunity Thursday to decide which position they will hold.
Similar ballot position drawings will be held in every county at 2pm. Christian County’s drawing will take place in the Fiscal Court room.
